The Cloud Forest Preserve in Panama has cabins and a lodge in the heart of La Amistad National Park. Eight self guided trails take guests into cloud forest wilderness. While access to Mount Totumas is via a 4 wheel drive road.  We provide transportation from Volcan for guests who do not have their own 4WD vehicles.

Mount Totumas Cloud Forest Preserve is a private reserve of 400 acres that borders La Amistad National Park. Over a million acres of cloud forest wilderness. We are off the grid and generate alternative energy with out micro hydro station. Guests come to the Eco Lodge in order to experience pristine cloud forest wilderness where dominant predators are still present.  3 species of monkeys  and some of the most charismatic sought after cloud forest bird species can still be seen with relative ease; Resplendent Quetzals, Three Wattled Bellbird, Black and Crested Guan, Mountain Tinamou, Fiery-Billed Aracari.
