Finca Ixobel Hotel Ecologico is located in Guatemala. The Hotel is a working farm that is also a guesthouse and campground. The Guesthouse is lo cated 5 Kilometers south of Poptún in the department of Petén, Guatemala, in a beautiful pine forest surrounded by jungle. We offer many types of accommodation, from private rooms with a bathroom and tree houses to dormitories.

Tikal and the Mayan ruins are a must see when you stay here as they aren't that far away. We offer eco tours to Tikal as well as other archeological attractions as well as a swimming respite in our nearby rivers.

Our restaurant serves up organic vegetables from our garden as well as other fresh ingredients from the daily local markets. We make our own breads and have an array of baked sweet breads like pumpkin and banana bread. We also bake up some wonderful deserts. On the weekends we have an extensive buffet at dinner time, so be sure to let your taste buds savor that.
