Casa Cayuco Eco-Adventure Lodge is an idyllic off-grid resort in the archipelago of Bocas del Toro, Panama.

The remote location offers guests the opportunity to truly get away. Every stay includes a round-trip speedboat transfer from Bocas Town, a guided tour of the local village, use of sea kayaks, SUP boards, and snorkel gear. Locally grown, small batch coffee and tea every morning, chef’s choice breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and 3 course dinner are also included in each stay. Guests can spend their time snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, hiking, birding, visiting an indigenous village, or simply relaxing with a drink on the white sand beaches.
Casa Cayuco has eight spacious accommodations that sleep between two to eight people. All accommodations are hand crafted with fallen jungle wood from Ngäbe-Buglé. Indigenous carpenters designed tham in an open-air style. This gives guests the sense of being outside. Every accommodation offers a slightly different experience. From being either nestled in the jungle, up in the trees, adjoined to our main lodge, or to overlooking the water. Casa Cayuco can host up to 38 guests in total, but it only takes a group of 20 to reserve the whole lodge!
The resort believes in the power of ecotourism to make a positive impact on local communities. They carefully source their food, harvest their water from the rain, and power the resort with solar energy. This minimizes their footprint. Casa Cayuco has a special relationship with the nearby Ngäbe-Buglé indigenous village. This exemplifies their partnership with the community. Every stay helps villagers to support ongoing projects within the community.
