At the end of the Lodges' mile long driveway, guests are transported to a private Eden. This Eden joins the raw nature of the rain forest to the tranquil beauty of manicured grounds and breathtaking views. The Nature Lodge’s lush gardens, full of tropical fruits and flowers, attract many of the colorful resident wildlife species. Wildlife residents of the area include birds: flocks of macaws, toucans, and parrots. As well as mammals: Monkeys, coatis, kinkajous, agoutis, and sloths are daily visitors. Guests at the lodge can spot peccaries and even, though more rarely, jungle cats, like pumas, jaguarundis, ocelots and jaguars.
Activities at the Lodge
Trails on the property allow for further exploration into the rain forest, where you can enjoy rappelling into refreshing natural pools and waterfalls. Guests can spend their days hiking and exploring the natural beauty of Bosque del Cabo and the surrounding area. Visitors can also whiz through the air on the Lodge's zipline into a tree platform. As well, guests can take a walk across the Lodge's suspension bridge to the Tropical Garden. Too active? Then just relax by the pool, sip a tropical drink, and watch the macaws fly by.

The Nature Lodge's newly renovated solar-powered restaurant serves delicious meals in a friendly (and eco-friendly!) atmosphere. Bosque del Cabo has ten beautifully crafted thatched-roof bungalows. Lush green gardens are the private setting for each bungalow. offering stunning ocean views, modern bathrooms with delightful outdoor garden showers, as well as porches furnished with hammocks and easy chairs. These romantic Nature Lodge bungalows are stirred by warm tropical breezes that echo with the rhythms of the pounding surf below.
For the ultimate in jungle living, Bosque del Cabo has two rental houses: Casa Blanca and Casa Miramar. Casa Blanca, a well-appointed 2 bedroom/2 bath house has a fully-equipped kitchen, living room area, as well as a large wraparound porch. The porch offers amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, and 2 large bedroom suites on either side of the house. Casa Miramar offers an artistic layout of three unique “casitas”. The casitas feature three bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and living room area. The casitas also have many porches and observation decks with amazing sunset views.
Cabina Mariposa Bosque also has a beautiful Tropical Garden that offers garden accommodations (one rental house, Casa Teca, and two cabinas, Cabina La Paz and Cabina Almendra). These garden accomodations have a wildlife pond and features El Palenque, an open rancho restaurant/bar & bird watching facility. The 300 foot long suspension bridge is an access to the Tropical Garden. The bridge spans a 75-foot deep rain forest gorge that has a lovely creek running along the bottom.
