Asua – Bangladesh Ecotourism

Bangladesh has the world’s largest mangrove forest ecosystem where Royal Bengal Tigers live. It also had the biggest man made lake. There are beaches and impressive marine life along with hills and valleys. Eco-tourism is in it’s infancy here but there is much interest in developing it and with the natural resources, including ancient temples for cultural heritage, Bangladesh is well on its way to become a great ecotourism destination. Sitakunda is the countries first Eco Park and is one of the countries oldest sites of habitation. The have alternative energy projects here, including wind energy and geothermal power.

At present we have no Bangladesh Eco Lodges-Tours but are actively seeking them and will let you know as soon as we have some.
